Well, like I said, it would be some time in between shows, ha...

...Our next show will be, once again, at the Webster Underground. They seem to like/tolerate us there, so we're happy to say we'll be blowing up the scene on second stage for Zebrahead and Authority Zero...

...That is to say unless you help us out, buy a ticket from us, and plant us back on the main stage! Any help is appreciated and you know we love to see you cheer us on.

ALSO - If all goes well, we will have "TEST SUBJECT" cds... And I mean the big one, baby. The final print of this great album will be available at this show. Also, our last few t-shirts and von crush will be with us once again.

Won't you come see us?

Well we certainly had a blast!!!

Thank you to everyone and your kind and supportive comments tonight at the webster underground. Everyone tonight at the show was delightful and very friendly, thus making it a very lovely show for us. Also thank you to those who gave us the opportunity to play tonight, you know who you are.

We were also very pleased to play a brand new song, "Something", which Randy has been working on rather dilligently for the last several weeks. We're still working out the live kinks (you may have noticed the lack of back up vocals in the chorus, I can sing it fine in the shower but live? Noooooo) and trying to work little ad libs and what not, but we were happy with it. Except randy was messing with the levels on the mp3 player (jim and horatio had the night off, we had miguel filling in double duty) when we were getting into it. Crazy Randy.

Well, kids, it was a nice summer playing for all of you, but methinks that was the last show for a bit. We are actively trying to book for October (*hint hint*), as we have several engagements to attend to during the month of september that make shows damn near impossible. This year has been a big year for us so far, so it only seems right to keep that train rolling. Also, we will finally be releasing a finalized copy of test subject..... Trust me, this is great. Again, thank you for an amazing summer and we love you all to death....

...You know, that is a very creepy phrase.... "Love you to death"?...

...Creepy.

What a summer it has been for the Downline gang.

First off, we finally have found the guitar player that'll remain for the ages: Slick. Funny how that cycle came about, eh?

About four years ago, Slick and myself were coming to terms with the fact that our high school pet project of the tWn radio show was coming to a close. We tried to fill the gap with a new band called Autoretto. Unfortunately, at that time, we just did not have the equipment needed to pull it off. Then we heard about Medicant Downline and both joined, him as a live guitar player and myself on keyboards. We spent many an afternoon in the basement of my former (and at that time empty) house practicing the only two MD songs at that time: Gift and Killswitch.

Years later and here we are again. Playing new updated versions of those songs in my garage and sounding better than ever.

Since Slick joined in May we've been through a whirlwind of shows and activity the likes of which MD has never seen. We opened up for Pig, Crossbreed, Digital Mindy, and Mindless Faith on the mainstage of the Webster Theatre, earning our spot as the last local support band before the big names take the stage. We headlined Connecticon and, even though it wasn't as easy a ride as we would have hoped, it was a great learning experience and we earned a review in the Hartford Advocate thanks to it. We also put on an amazing set opening up for Kill Hannah and Mindless Self Indulgence two weeks ago at the Webster Underground.

We would like to thank all the loyal Downliners who have supported us this summer and have helped us grown. It's your support that got us into the Webster Theater in the first place and made two of my dreams come true (playing a show with PIG and MSI). It's your continued support that'll help us finally release our debut CD next month via this website and CDBaby.com. And it's your support above and beyond the call of duty that has helped us improve with each passing show.

On August 24th, we close out our summer on a high note with an awesome night of music opening up for Bella Morte and Deadstar Assembly at the Webster Underground. Tickets are only $12.50. If you'd like to buy a ticket or two to check us out, drop me an email.

Thanks again for making us who we are,
-RPD-
